Sewing Camps Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2020

Ronkita, LLC (A/K/A "Ronkita", "We", "Us", "Our", or the "Company") provides sewing instruction (A/K/A "camp(s) or sewing camp(s)") to you subject to the following Terms and Conditions. When you register or pay for sewing instruction you accept these Terms and Conditions as an agreement between you as the student, or the student's legal guardian, (referred to as "you", "your", "student" or "user" hereinafter) and Ronkita.

These Terms and Conditions apply only to sewing camps scheduled or organized directly with Ronkita. We also teach at other businesses that setup, manage, and take registrations for camps using their own systems, processes, and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these other businesses, and our terms & conditions are not applicable to their business, the products or services they provide, or your interactions with them.


Payment

Fees are due when you sign up to hold your place for the specific date(s) and time(s). Your place is not confirmed until full payment has been made.


Times & Late Arrivals
  • All camps start at the designated time each day.
  • There is a 10-minute waiting period after the start time to accomodate late arrivals.
  • If the teacher doesn't recieve notice before the start time that the student(s) will be late, it is at the discretion of the teacher to cancel that day of the camp after the waiting period. Refunds will not be given if the camp is cancelled because the student(s) failed to attend any or all days.
  • If a teacher receives notice before the start time that the student(s) will arrive late, it is at the discretion of the teacher to extend the camp time for that day. Refunds will not be given for time that was missed by the student(s).

Materials & Supplies

Please use the materials/supplies list provided to make sure you have everything needed for the camp. We are not always able to supply machine accessories or supplies if you forget yours. Camp fees will not be refunded if students fail to bring the necessary materials and supplies.


Cancellations & Refunds

Please check your calendar carefully before committing to a camp. We appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations.

  • Cancellations received at least 30 calendar days before the start date of the camp shall receive 100% refund of the fee, less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received within 15-29 calendar days before the start date of the camp shall receive 50% refund of the fee, less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received fewer than 15 calendar days before the start date of the camp shall not receive a refund of the fee.
  • Refunds will not be given if the camp is cancelled because the student(s) failed to attend any or all days.
  • Refunds will not be given for time that was missed by the student(s).
  • There are no refunds for students who fail to appear for the camp.
  • Camp fees will not be refunded if students fail to bring the necessary materials and supplies.
  • Refunds are not given to students who fail to contact us at the guidelines listed above. No exceptions.
  • Refunds can take at least 7-15 business days to process.
  • All services rendered by Ronkita are provided on a non-refundable basis.
  • In the unlikely event that the camp is canceled by Ronkita, you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling
  • Due to limited availability there is no guarantee that a camp can be rescheduled and rescheduling is at the discretion of the teacher.
  • Refunds will not be given if the teacher cannot reschedule the camp and students will be held to the cancellation guidelines above.
